EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT! Mercury, Nevada - THIS CASE IS ABOUT A FAMILY ABDUCTION!

Mercury, Nevada  - THIS CASE IS ABOUT
A FAMILY ABDUCTION!

We came across this interesting report submitted to the MUFON CMS on 2/27/2015:

First of all, the following account is true and is to the best of my knowledge is the way it happened.

I was in 1972 an Airmen in the USAF stationed at Keno AFS, Oregon out of Kingsley Field Oregon. I was a Radar Height Operator during my time there on the mountain. I received orders to go to Udorn, Thailand in 1972. In August of 1972 I packed my family with wife at that time, and young daughter who was born in May of 1971, and a young Labrador Retriever puppy. We were heading to Laredo, Texas for some leave, where both our families resided and my wife would be living with her parents while I was away. I was driving a 1971 Mustang Mach I, and towing a trailer with most of our belongings on it.

I remember we left in early afternoon and intended to stop only as necessary so as to make it home as soon as possible. The Labrador puppy had been given a small dosage of tranquilizer pills by the base vet so as to keep him calm and sleep since he was riding in a dog carrier at tailgate of the trailer. He was very comfortable and I foresaw no problems as long as we kept to our schedule. The baby was fed and asleep in the back seat where we had set up a make-shift crib.

At about 2:00 AM we were heading west on a long dark stretch of road but could see it was one of those roads that went on forever and then over a distant hill, more highway if you know what I mean. My wife was asleep when I first saw what looked to be some sort of a road block set-up ahead about a mile ahead. I could see the reflection of the cross stripes on a low wooden type structure, is why I though of it as a road block. But I started to wonder why a road block at this time? I was traveling at about 70 miles per hr. So I knew I would soon come up to it. I woke up my wife to see if she saw the same thing. I started to slow down anyway because I am a law abiding person, used to taking orders. As I got closer I saw no one at the road block just the low road block structure strung across the right side of the highway. I was about one city block length away from the road block and still no one manning it.

Suddenly our puppy in back started to howl, but not like a puppy howl or yelp, but like some sort of monster from Hell and very loud howling and just continued to do so till after we passed this area. All my hair stood up on the back of my neck. My wife and I looked at each other and I hit the gas pedal, feeling very much in danger. Something told me to go and not stop, which I obeyed, I swept around the roadblock on its left side. My wife and I both looked to our right. There was a strange set up and it looked like three daises raised around a cleared center area, like a basketball court with bleachers but one side missing. Very bright lights illuminated it, one dais was facing south and about 100 ft. across more or less and the other two facing each other east and west about same length and all three connected with the south side open. In this areas were many men or not, very white in coloring and they were all wearing what I saw was bright blue overalls and scampering around. There were many pieces of equipment around the inset of the dyes but the center part was clear almost like a short runway or large landing pad. My wife said she saw the same thing except that she saw them wearing white overalls and that they all looked bluish in coloring to her. I looked in the side mirrors and no one was following us. No lights, no police, nothing.

I was going about 75 miles per hr. and didn't slow down for at least 30 minutes to an hr. I did slow down though and saw that my wife was still nervous ,but that our daughter was still fast asleep, the puppy was quiet. I started to look for a place to stop and rest, with people around. I saw a light to our right in the near distance just off the highway so I slowed down and carefully pulled into what looked like an old style storefront parking area with a light swinging in the warm desert breeze from the store and I remember it even made that rusty sound as it swung back and forth.

I told my wife we would stay here and in the morning we could get something to eat or drink there. We agreed, I remember getting out of the car and I could see the outline of the store front as I went in back and relieved myself before getting back into the car. Next thing I remember there was a sharp knocking on my car window. It was a man checking to see if we were alright. I woke up fully and remembered that I felt as though I had slept for a hundred years, the best I had ever felt or since and fully energized and alive. The man was not excited and said he wanted to know how the accident happened? I said what accident? He said yours. He said you are 200ft from the highway, sitting in the middle of the desert. I just happened to see you as I was driving by. He asked if we were alright? I looked around my wife was just waking up and my daughter was still fast asleep. I said yes I feel great. I looked around, there was no store front no store sign swinging in the breeze and no store. We were in a clearing off the highway.

It was a bright sunny day. My reaction at that time was nonchalant, and very strange when I look back at it. I checked on the puppy, he was fine. The car and trailer looked fine. I looked like I pulled off the highway in a straight line to the position I was found in. I did notice that the truck driver was driving what is typically called an 18 wheeler and that he was parked far to the left on the highway of where we ended up. I thought at that time, boy, he must have great eyesight. He said go ahead and pull off the road to be sure the car is ok. As I did this I noticed a bump in the trailer axle. Upon further inspection I could see it was bent. I can't think of anyway it could happen unless I pulled off and hit something the night prior, but I remember being careful.

I thanked the truck driver without exchanging any information nor did he offer any. Anyway I was only able to go about 45 miles per hr. till we hit the next town. I am not sure but I think it was Mercury, Nevada? At this small town I stopped at a service station that told me the trailer was ruined and too dangerous to continue with it. Being an Airman at the time I had little money to rent another one. Instead I sold some our belongings and gave the rest away, along with the puppy to the service station owner. We took it all in stride and just kept going. It only started to bother me years later by 1981. I had divorced my then wife and life went on. But I still speak to her on occasion and this incident does come up and she still remembers the same thing.

I did not report this sooner because of my position with the USAF. I later worked in Air Force Intelligence and as a crew member of an E-3A training squadron. I then worked for a US Government agency where I also feared some sort of repercussions. I an now retired. This happened a long time ago. Even if it falls along the parameters of the Secrets Act it has been about 40 years and by now should be declassified.

NOTE: Quite an interesting report...though the particulars are very similar to other abductees' statements. The military implications are intriguing. I wonder if the witness' position as an USAF Airman may have been a reason for the abduction? BTW, the E-3A Component is NATO's first integrated, multinational flying unit (AWACS), so it seems that the witness was very well connected in the intelligence sector. Mercury, Nevada is situated within the Nevada Test Site and was constructed by the Atomic Energy Commission to house and service the staff of the test site.

Check OUT Paul Epley's 'Disclosure'

In 2010 a retired U.S. Army veteran name Paul Epley made a 'deathbed confession.' This disclosure included several supposed covert operations and classified incidents that he claimed to be involved with. Epley served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1955. He was a master sergeant, a first sergeant, a company commander and worked for the government. Because of his clandestine assignments, the government/military refused to acknowledge his service and denied him benefits even after 21 legal appeals were made by his attorneys. No matter what steps he took, his records and benefits were denied until 50 years after the end of the Korean War which was in 2003. His disclosure is an incredible revelation, if true.

When Paul Epley finally talked publically about some of his secret military activities, his story ended up in a small North Carolina newspaper. He states that two weeks later, two FBI men showed up where he was working and said, “If you don’t keep your mouth shut, we’ll shut it.”

That was in the 1990s, but in 2010 Paul no longer cared if they killed him. He was 80 years old, fighting cancer and wants to get three things off his conscience. On August 8, 2010, a reporter and crew were invited to his home to record stories that had haunted him nearly his entire life. They were given access to documents and an earlier video that originally wasn't to be released until after his death. The following information was provided during the interview...including the reporter's summation:

'I saw a live Roswell alien'

In the summer of 1950, Paul was in the U.S. Army and working at Camp Wallace on the James River in Virginia. One day, for reasons he no longer can recall, he went to Camp Peary near Williamsburg, Virginia. While there, he recognized an MP guarding a bunker; they had served in Guam together.

“I went down and asked him what he was guarding,” says Paul, “and he said I can’t show you. So I kept talking to him and he said, ‘All right, I’ll give you a brief look at it.’ So he opened the door.”

Behind the door, just 15 to 20 feet from him, was an alien standing in a small cage with a base that was only three to four feet square. The alien was about 4 ½ feet tall and only wearing briefs.

What caught Paul’s eye the most was the alien’s skin color which he described as “an old orange-gray, dead-looking color.” Despite the color, Paul assured us it was alive and seemed to be aware of his presence.

Though smaller and skinnier, Paul found the alien’s features remarkably human-like. The shape of the head, ears, eyes, nose, chest, arms and legs were all similar to those of a human being. He did say the alien was almost bald with just a little bit of hair. He also noticed the alien’s fingers were longer than those of a human being.

After viewing the alien for several minutes, Paul left the bunker. He recalls the guard saying “that was the fifth one from Roswell” and “they were taking it up north somewhere.” In an earlier interview, Paul explained that the alien was transported from Roswell, New Mexico to Fort Hood, Texas before arriving at Camp Peary, Virginia. “At that time,” Paul adds, “Camp Peary was the most secret place that we had in America. I didn’t know much because I didn’t stay there long, but I know you had to have top secret (clearance) to get in.”

NOTE: Camp Peary is known as 'The Farm'. Officially it is referred to as the Armed Forces Experimental Training Activity (AFETA) under the auspices of the Department of Defense, but it is widely believed to be the location of a covert CIA training facility. During the 1950's, the Navy secured the location and access required high-security clearance...Lon

Military Assassin

This part of Paul’s story has haunted him since the Korean War ended in 1953. Since then, he has nightly nightmares, suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and must take medication to help calm his nerves.

A simple 18-year-old country boy from North Carolina wasn’t prepared for what he got into when he joined the U.S. Army. During basic training, he severely broke his ankle and was going to be discharged. Paul, however, wanted to be a soldier and pleaded to remain in the service. The military agreed to let him stay and do only light duties - with one condition. He had to do anything he was asked without question.

That agreement pretty much destroyed his life. When the Korean War was ending, the United States didn’t want the North Koreans, the ones who had helped the U.S. during the war, to return to their homes. There was concern they would reveal U.S. intelligence information to the North Korean government/military. The solution was to assassinate the Korean allies and make it look like they’d died in combat.

Time and time again, he carried out assassination orders. Typically, he was told a “prisoner of war” was escaping and to shoot him dead, roll him in a trench and then toss in a grenade so it would look like a combat death.

Within a two or three week period, he also was taught to fly a plane – but not how to land it. His mission was to crash a plane into a desolate island and bail out before impact. When he went to the back of the plane to jump, he saw bound Koreans in the cargo section including two women. Yes, Paul says, the crash was to make their deaths look accidental.

Asked to Assassinate Martin Luther King

In 1967, long after Paul was discharged from the U.S. Army, he was called to a meeting at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. Because of the nature of what he wishes to reveal, here are Paul’s exact words:

PAUL: “I had to run up to Langley. So I got up there, went in the meeting. They was two civilians and two colonels – an Air Force colonel and an Army colonel. They sat down there and talked, didn’t say no name or nothing, but they talked about what all was going on in the country and that they had one person that they had to get rid of. Everybody knowed who it was from the way they was talking, all this stuff in Rocksville (Little Rock?), down south and everything. They was talking about Martin Luther King. That was in ’67 in the summer and they wanted me to help them. And I told them that I had a good job, raising a family and didn’t want nothing else to do with it. But they sure approached me and tried to get me to help them.”

QUESTION: “In your mind, do you feel like they were asking you to help with an assassination hit on Martin Luther King?”

PAUL: “Right. That’s exactly what they wanted.”

QUESTION: “Do you have any idea why they wanted to get rid of him?”

PAUL: “ ’Cause there was so much trouble going on with the Blacks.”

QUESTION: “And they thought that would fix it?”

PAUL: “Well, it did.”

NOTE: There was an unedited 21-minute recording made with Paul Epley and his son Kendall. It was taped on August 8, 2010 at the Epley home. An additional video was taped at the end of this interview to clarify information. I have not been able to find the recording or video online. Is Epley's disclosure true? I'm not going to say that Mr. Epley was spinning a yarn, but some of the scenarios and information just don't fit. Unlike other 'deathbed confessions,' this particular disclosure just doesn't pass the smell test!

Inside The Cryptid Roaming Denver Suburbs

Inside The Cryptid Roaming Denver Suburbs

Last week I received an email forwarded to me by my friend and colleague Pennsylvania UFO / anomalies investigator Stan Gordon. The witness was seeking help after they encountered an unknown being or cryptid in the Denver, CO metro area. I have included the original email with personal & specific location information redacted.

Since receiving the email, I have talked to the witness and put them in contact with a well-known crypto-investigator. I have also consulted with another fortean investigator familiar with the area. The witness is fearful that this cryptid may hurt someone and was eager to find someone who would take them seriously. The investigation is now underway.

I am asking that anyone who has encountered a similar cryptid in the Denver area or at another location, to please contact me at ronmilione@yahoo.com I will post an update when new information is available:

I never expected to have a conversation like this but I don't know where to go to. I've always believed there is more to the world than what we know but late at night this Saturday 3/14/15 I had a terrifying encounter with something completely unexplained. I'm writing this to you because after researching for something comparable, the only close reference I could find was on your website. It sounds similar to the Nov. 20 2011 Mud Creek Road Creature.

I really wish I had seen a Bigfoot or an alien. At least those are more well known. I told my parents and my closest friend about this so far because I had to talk to somebody but it sounds completely crazy even to myself as I tell it. I work in a professional field and I feel like I can't tell anyone around me without sounding like I'm going off the deep end but I need to talk to somebody and I'm also concerned that this this thing is still around Denver as we speak.

The details:

I was at a friend's house in the (redacted) suburb of Denver on Saturday 3/14/15. (redacted) This house is surrounded by typical Denver suburbs but does butt up right next to an area of open space. She lives on a very large lot (acre and a half possibly) with an 8 ft solid stone type fence along the back of the property and a shorter 5 ft iron fence that divides the front yard from the back. She had explained that she has coyote problems there so she's very careful when letting her dog out at night. He's a very old pug. A bit deaf and can't see to well either. I can hear the coyotes when I'm there and there are rabbits everywhere. We regularly find evidence of rabbit kills around the yard. So when she takes her dog out at night she takes a very large flashlight (twice the size of a large maglite) and shines it around the yard first and then lets him out but stays right next to him the whole time with the flashlight on. She also insisted I do the same. I grew up in the desert and have seen plenty of coyotes and they are pretty small and typically cowards. I thought she was being overly paranoid about it but it may have saved my life on Saturday night.

The encounter:

I went out, explored the yard and shined the flashlight around the yard all over the area we would be. We don't take them all that far from the back door to use the bathroom since her dog is fairly disabled these days. I saw nothing and let the dogs out with me. I kept very close to them because I promised I would. A small but important detail here and one that I feel may have saved me. Part of the iron fence between the front and back yard butts up to the driveway.

I was standing around 20 yards from the back door and around 10 yards from the iron fence. I had my back to the iron fence and the dogs close. This is where I feel like I sound weird but here goes. I heard what to me sounded like hoof beats running extremely fast up from behind me. In my head I had just enough time to think why am I hearing hooves??? I knew a horse made no sense but I know the sound of hooves. I knew an animal was coming straight at me. I turned expecting a coyote even though the sound made no sense. As I turned around to the fence, something I can hardly describe had just launched off the ground from the driveway. It was moving extremely fast and cleared the fence easily. I was more like it had jumped from farther back in the driveway so it's trajectory would land it closer to us at that speed. As i said, we were only 10 yards from the fence but this thing was just moving so fast.

I would guess I had about 1 second tops to register the sound I heard (thanks to the concrete on the driveway) and realize something was happening. Since I expected a coyote as I turned around all I could think of was to stick out my arms and make myself look bigger as well as kind of shield the dogs near me. I screamed "NO" as loud as I could an caught this thing in the flashlight beam as I turned around. It was coming straight at me and I had a split second to step aside slightly as it landed just a few feet from me. It was still going full speed when it hit the ground. Like fast predator speed. It touched down quickly on all fours but immediately rose back up to two legs and continued running at full speed toward the back fence. My dog gave a very short chase (just a few steps really) but could never keep up at that speed. This thing continued running straight at the back stone fence very fast. The back fence is around 30 yards from where I was standing when this took place and 8 ft tall. I heard it's steps moving away and followed it with the flashlight. I did not actually see it jump the back fence but I lost it in the confusion heading that direction almost too quickly to have stopped. Also, I didn't hear any steps through the wide gravel border surrounding the fence. I can only assume it cleared the back fence as easily as it cleared the front even though it is much higher.

The creature:

I'll start by saying that I have been into the outdoors all my life. I grew up in a smallish desert town and my family has 2 cabins in the mountains. Most of my free time revolves around the outdoors and I have seen all types of wildlife. Bears, cougars, wolves, coyote, etc.. I mention those because they are predators. This was a predator also but nothing like these animals. This was so unlike anything I have ever seen it's actually very hard to describe but I'll do my best.

I was expecting a coyote as I turned around. The combination of expecting a coyote but seeing something so completely alien, and the fact that it was moving so fast and coming straight at me made it very hard to take in as it flew towards me. It was very large and pitch black. It was not long haired but I would say a thin layer of hair over black skin or possibly a full layer of short black hair? I thought I heard hoof beats but I never did get a clear look at the feet. I would assume it was actually claws on concrete.

As it was coming over the fence it also seemed bigger than when it landed. I would not say it had wings but it felt like extra skin?

It hit he ground right behind us and exactly behind where I had just been. That's where I got good light on it. It was still moving so fast. It touched down and immediately stood back up while running. It's head was lower than mine but still quite tall. Over 5 feet. It was not standing totally erect like a person so it was probably even taller and it was also still running.I barely looked down on its face and I'm 5'10. It hit the ground with enough weight that I felt it's weight vibrate through my feet as well as the first couple of heavy steps it took as it passed me. The extra skin (wings possible?) made it very hard to judge weight but the body was large.

It was almost coal black. To the point that the main body almost seemed to absorb my flashlight beam as it ran off. Like a matte black. As it stood up the legs seemed to be backwards jointed like a dog. Some of the only color I saw on it was a bit of brown running down the legs. Picture Doberman coloring. It was very very close (I'm still surprised we didn't touch) and the legs seemed very strong. I could see muscle definition almost like a mans legs. The main body was thick but because of the skin thing which I'm still having hard time describing. A close comparison would be like a cape almost. There was very little definition around the front. I saw the arms sticking out but there was nowhere close to the definition in the legs. The arms were much smaller and again, I did not get a good look at the hands.

The back was broad but the anatomy was very hard to process with the skin.

The head looked like a combination of things. Much like a wolf but thicker and less elongated like a bear scull. Canine teeth were visible. It was already passing me as it continued running and was looking over at me. Teeth were definitely bared. It did seem to have a lighter (grey) colored streak along its jaw. Really the only other color I saw on its body. The eyes looked yellow in my flashlight. I don't know if they were reflecting of if it was the true color since we were so close. I feel like they were reflecting but I can't be positive.

I had a dog within a few feet on either side of me. It landed and ran between myself and one of the dogs but did not try at all to snatch it nor did it reach out to grab me. The dog would have been easy pickings at that speed. I have the distinct impression that it was coming for me and I just happened to move out of the way and it was already passing too fast to grab.

This thing made no sound at all except for the hoof type sound of feet on the concrete and the steps through the yard. On the grass it was almost silent except for the first few steps closest to me.

I called my parents in the morning and the best way I could describe it with normal animals was wolf, bear, bat, and possibly monkey but mostly monkey because it was on 2 legs.

This whole thing has me feeling pretty shaken. Once this thing disappeared, I was alone in the dark with just the flashlight but I had already lost site of it. I wasn't sure if it had even left the yard and might be circling around. I have worked in clubs in my life and have been stabbed and also shot at but I have never been more scared in my life than in the silence after this thing passed me. I was absolutely terrified as I tried to wrangle the two dogs to the house. I slowly backed up and ran the flashlight all around me. I wanted to run but I couldn't leave the dogs out there. I'm not a religious person and never have been but to be totally honest, as I backed towards the house that scared, the first thought that came to mind was that I had seen a demon. It sounded crazy to me but I just couldn't process what had just happened on any rational level. I still can't. I don't believe in demons and I don't think it was one, but a couple days ago I didn't believe I might have an encounter with an unknown creature like this either.

It scared me so bad that I can't even open a door at night without getting full body goosebumps and even looking out windows in the dark has me uncomfortable. It's strange to say and irrational but I'm currently scared of the dark. My body is physically reacting uncontrollably.

I would appreciate a response from you ASAP. I really need to talk to somebody about this and I don't know who to talk to without being judged as crazy. Also, this thing is still in Denver or possibly coming from the nearby foothills into town. That house is not all that far from open mountain terrain but still several miles. If nothing else, could you put me in touch with somebody local to speak with?

Thanks for any advice you may be able to give. I don't know where to start here. Something like this is way out of my wheelhouse.

Sincere Regards, E

Nuclear Disasters Synchronization with UFO's!

  Nuclear Disasters Synchronization with UFO's!

Are extraterrestrials...specifically, those supposed beings aboard UFOs, intervening during nuclear power plant disasters? There are reports of UFO sightings over the Chernobyl and Fukushima nuclear power plants prior (and after) to those respective calamities.

Those who believe in 'harbingers of disaster' may recall reports of large winged humanoids flying in the vicinity of these plants before the accidents. Some have suggested that Mothman was the portent, as the story goes in relation to the Silver Bride collapse of December 1967 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The Mothman has been reported to manifest prior to other mishaps as well.

Is it realistic to state that we are monitored by unknown beings...just in case we screw up?

One may ask, are these unknown entities transporting back from the future to correct the mistakes we made? Is it also possible that these time travelers are actually evolved humans...our decedents attempting to change a foreboding history?

In 2002, Pravda published an article UFO Prevents Blast at Chernobyl Nuclear Plant, which stated:

When troublesome events started to occur, some people saw a spaceship hovering above the fourth generating unit of the Chernobyl plant. Eyewitnesses say that an UFO was there for six hours and that hundreds of people saw it. People started writing about it only two years after the catastrophe. Of course, such information appeared in magazines on ufology. As it is generally believed, serious people don’t read such magazines and journals.

Here is what Mikhail Varitsky had to say: “I and other people from my team went to the site of the blast at night. We saw a ball of fire, and it was slowly flying in the sky. I think the ball was six or eight meters in diameter. Then, we saw two rays of crimson light stretching towards the fourth unit. The object was some 300 meters from the reactor. The event lasted for about three minutes. The lights of the object went out and it flew away in the northwestern direction.”

The UFO brought the radiation level down. The level was decreased almost four times. This probably prevented a nuclear blast.

Three years later (on September 16, 1989), the fourth power-generating unit emitted radiation into the atmosphere. Several hours later, a doctor saw an object in the sky above the Chernobyl plant. Doctor Gospina described it as “amber-like.” She said she could see the top and the bottom of it as well.

In October of 1990, a reporter from the newspaper the Echo of Chernobyl , V. Navran, was photographing the machine shop of the Chernobyl plant. “I photographed the top of it, including a part of the hole above. I remember everything very well; I did not see any UFO. However, when I developed the film, I clearly saw an object that was hovering above the hole in the roof.” The object looked like the one doctor Gospina saw.

There was also a NICAP report:

Chernobyl Exploded on 4/26/86 at 1:23 AM.

In reference to the possible UFO cause & effect relationship, in particular, Chernobyl:

On May 1, 1997, Jerry Washington wrote:

In response to Anders Liljegren assertion that "'the UFO phenomenon' was NOT out to check on that...No sightings in the affected area until more than a week after the nuclear crash," referring to the Chernobyl disaster, I offer this excerpt from Dr. Vladimir V. Rubtsov's lectures as published in MUFON's 1994 Symposium Proceedings:

"...about one month before the Chernobyl disaster I had a talk with an air traffic controller of the Kharkov airport. He told me that, according to pilots' reports, there was a rising number of UFO observations in the area of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station (ChNPS). Later it became known that on the night of the fire in the ChNPS, some 3 hours after the explosion, a team of nuclear specialists saw in the sky over the station a fiery ball of the color of brass. The witnesses estimated its diameter as 6-8 meters and its distance from the burning nuclear reactor No. 4 as some 300 meters. Just before the observation these specialists measured the level of radiation in the place where they were standing. It was measured at 3000 milliroentgens per hour. 'Suddenly two bright rays of crimson color extended from the ball to the reactor... This lasted for some 3 minutes... The rays abruptly faded and the ball slowly floated away in a north-westerly direction, towards Byelorussia. Then we again looked at our radiation monitor. It displayed only 800 milliroentgens per hour...'"

Just thought you'd like to know.

UFO Casebook also collected statements from Ukrainians citizens in reference to the UFO sightings.

Inside the UNKNOWN/UNSOLVED Case of The Todd Sees Incident

Inside the UNKNOWN/UNSOLVED

Case of The Todd Sees Incident

CREDIT/SOURCE: http://www.phantomsandmonsters.com/

During our time at Phenomenology 105 in Gettysburg, PA, several of us were discussing the Todd Sees incident.  We have posted information on this case over the years but there have been no new facts to report. Many questions remain...so I've decided to delve deeper into this saga. There are a few local resources (Northumberland County, PA) that I may be able to take advantage of. I am asking for assistance from the readers and others who may be able to offer enlightenment to this mystery. Please forward to ronmilione@yahoo.com. There has been a bit of skulduggery and intimidation involved in the case and it seems certain parties would prefer the facts around this incident remain secret. Regardless...I feel the time has come for the truth to surface. Read the current available information:

((NUFORC Note: We have contacted a local newspaper in Northumberland County, and to the police officer who served as investigator of the case. The newspaper confirms that the incident occurred, although the police officer stated that the decendant's remains had been returned to the family, contrary to the claims made by some regarding this case. The official report will be released in late September, according to the police officer, and we will attempt to obtain a copy of it. PD))

I will be as brief as possible, A man named Todd Sees, was abducted and murdered by aliens on Montour Ridge ,in Northumberland County, near the town of Northumberland, Pa. This is a big sloppy coverup if there ever was one.

Todd Sees the victim, lived at the foot of Montour Ridge,a mountain stretching over 20 miles east. Todd Sees went up the mountain to look for preseason deer. He told his wife that he would be home by noon. He rode his 4 wheeler up the powerline behind his home at a little after 5:00 in the morning.

Noon came and no Todd, his wife and children became concerned,at 2:00 a search party was organized ,local police, state police , paramedics ,and 200 volunteers helped search for Todd Sees. The 4 wheeler was found on the top of the mountain near a powerline, tracking dogs could find nothing to go on around the 4 wheeler. The search went on for 2 days over 6 miles of mountain were covered ,from top to bottom. Todd vanished with out a trace, the 4 wheeler was keep in mind ,2 miles from his home at the foot of the mountain. A pond a few hundred yards from the house was even searched by skin divers just so they overlooked nothing . Dogs were over the whole area constantly no results, no trace, then in the evening of the 2nd day something white was spotted in a large brushy area 25 feet from the pond, police and rescue workers spent 20 minutes cutting and hacking, brush and small trees so they could reach what looked like a body. It was Todd Sees, he was wearing his underwear, he was emaciated, not, bloated, he was white, he had an expression of horror on his face. When he went up the mountain he was fully dressed, boots, camo vest, hat, socks and pants.

The F.B.I. showed up with in 30 minutes, they took charge, they would not let the wife look at her dead husband, no matter how much she tried. The F.B.I. asked questions around the area, neighbors, mostly farmers, 3 farmers on one farm said they saw a large round bright object, just above the powerlines, at the time of the disappearance, it was silent, it did not move fora! bout 10 to 15 minutes. It suddenly went up and suddenly stopped,a light shined down and something was pulled up into the light. It then went straight up,hesitated again then went west over the Susquehanna River and out of sight.

A police friend of mine said after 2 autopsies nothing was found a toxicology test revealed nothing,no visible cuts or bruises any where except from the brush.

Now the body is at Allentown, from there it is going to Fort Indiantown Gap,Pa.

The wife was told she can not have the body for 6 to 8 weeks. A boot was found a mile from the 4 wheeler a few days ago at the top of a tree, it was his. I notice military copters have been scouring the mountain ever since at least once a day.

PRELIMINARY STATEMENT REGARDING THE DEATH OF MR. TODD SEES, OF NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY , PENNSYLVANIA , ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 4TH, 2002.

I. PREFACE

Because this report addresses the tragic and untimely death on August 4th, 2002 , of a young man, Mr. Todd Sees, of Northumberland County , Pennsylvania , we preface by extending our sincere condolences to the family members who survive him. It has never been our intention to cause family members of the late Mr. Sees' any distress over this matter, although we understand that the information originating from our website, because of its nature, may have been upsetting to them.

Because of the pain that information may have caused them, we apologize. It was never our intention to cause pain to the family, anymore that it is the intention of a newspaper to cause pain in the course of reporting on such a tragic, and unusual, event. From the beginning of our investigation into Mr. Sees' death, our only objective has been to reveal the truth, and to attempt to provide answers to the many still unanswered questions that it has given rise to.

II. BACKGROUND/CHRONOLOGY

On Wednesday, August 28, 2002 , the National UFO Reporting Center ("NUFORC") received a brief, one-paragraph, report, criticizing our Center for not having covered an alleged "alien abduction," which, the source asserted, had occurred in Lewisburg , Pennsylvania . Even though the report did not appear to be either serious, or carefully prepared, we responded, nevertheless, requesting more information from the person who had submitted it.

The individual, who provided no telephone number, responded via e-mail, describing the death of Mr. Todd Sees, and further asserting that circumstances surrounding the death had been very unusual. The source asserted that the death itself was mysterious and unexplained; that certain facts surrounding the follow-up investigation were unusual; that federal authorities had been called into the investigation; that the family members of the decedent were not allowed to witness the victim's remains; and several other facts that seemed noteworthy to us. The individual went on to assert that the death had been related to UFO, and/or alien, activity. Despite repeated attempts by NUFORC to obtain more information about the individual, we have not succeeded in talking directly with the person.

NUFORC decided to follow up on the unsubstantiated report, and, on August 30th, we telephoned The Daily Item newspaper in Northumberland County , PA , in attempt to establish whether the initial report had any basis in fact. The staff member we spoke with there confirmed that such an incident had, in fact, occurred, and that the newspaper had published several articles about the death, and about the subsequent investigation. (Please see two of the articles at the end of this report.)) The staff member apprised NUFORC that the investigation had been conducted by the Point Township police department, and she directed us to those offices for more detailed information about the continuing investigation.

On that same date, we telephoned the Point Township police department and spoke with an officer, who identified himself as "Sgt. Cottner" (sp?), and who stated that he had been the investigating officer on the case. He added that the incident had been categorized by the police as an "unexplained death," but he made it clear that he could not, and would not, discuss the case. He stated that the police report would be available in "late September," and he suggested that we should wait for the official report to be released.

That same day, NUFORC telephoned the office of Mr. James Kelley, County Coroner for Northumberland County , hoping to obtain more information about the cause of the victim's death. In a conversation several days later, Mr. Kelley apprised us that the death had occurred, that he had performed the autopsy on the victim, that no cause of death had been established, and that photographs had been taken of the victim's remains during autopsy. He added that autopsy photographs are "never released." Mr. Kelley, like Sgt. Cottner, made it clear that he could not discuss the case in any detail.

Based on the information we had obtained by September 5th from these official sources, NUFORC decided to release the report originally submitted to our Center, even though we had not yet succeeded in obtaining the newspaper articles, or any other detailed information, about the death and subsequent investigation. At that the time of the posting on September 8th, we had not anticipated the effect that the release would have in the public forum.

The case was commented on during a radio appearance on September 10th by Peter Davenport, NUFORC Director, on the Jeff Rense Radio Program, and the report that NUFORC had released was posted to the website.

The next day, a relative of Mr. Sees telephoned NUFORC, apprising our offices that the family had been quite upset by some of the information contained in the original report, and that they had had no inkling that there might be such grossly unusual circumstances, as asserted in those reports, surrounding his death. At that time, we extended our apology to the family for any distress our actions might have caused them. In addition, we explained to the family member that we had spoken with the local authorities and with the newspaper, and that our information was based on our findings of fact. The family member, after she had heard our explanation of the actions we had taken in attempt to gain access to more, factual information from the authorities, stated that she understood our position in the matter.

During the last two weeks of September, NUFORC has made numerous attempts to obtain more information, but unsuccessfully, to date. During a brief conversation with Chief Gary Steffen, Chief of Police for the Point Township police department, he apprised NUFORC that an investigation into the "unexplained death" was underway, and that he could not comment further. However, he did aver that he was familiar with the information on the NUFORC website, and that he was "following developments" there. Also, he confirmed that no family member had been summoned to identify Mr. Sees' remains, but added that it was not necessary to do so, since he, the Chief, had been personally acquainted with the victim, and he was able to identify the remains at the site where the body was found by volunteer searchers.

Chief Steffen has failed to return our last four messages to his office, requesting a return telephone call. In a brief follow-up conversation with Sgt. Cottner, the latter stated that he could not reveal any more facts about the case, and that the Chief probably would not return our calls. He refused to respond to our question as to whether federal law enforcement officers had been involved in the follow-up investigation of the case.

Finally, we have encouraged a number of members of the press, both local and national, to investigate the incident, hoping that they might be more successful in obtaining from authorities information that NUFORC was not able to obtain.

In addition, as part of our investigation, we continue in our attempt to locate and interview members of the approximately 200-member search party that was involved in the 2-day search for Mr. Sees' body. Some of the questions we are attempting to resolve appear in the next section of this preliminary report.

III. UNRESOLVED ISSUES

We list below a few of the questions surrounding the death of Mr. Sees that we have attempted to answer, but which we feel remain unresolved, as of the date of this summary:

1. If the death of Mr. Sees is being investigated as an "unexplained death," and not a homicide, why are the local authorities involved in the investigation refusing to comment on the case? If the death, in fact, was the result of a snake bite, a bee sting, a diabetic coma, or exposure, all of which have been proposed as the cause of death, why are the police, the coroner, and the district attorney all refusing to comment on the case?

2. If the victim's remains were so badly decayed or disfigured that the family could not have an open casket funeral ceremony, why was no family member, or representative of the family, e.g. a family physician, summoned to establish positive identification of the body? Also, under what authority did officials act in their apparently informing the family of the decedent that the casket containing his remains should not be opened before its burial? In addition, how could a body become so badly decayed in 39 hours, or less, of exposure that it was unfit for viewing by the family, or at a funeral?

3. If, indeed, unconfirmed reports that special agents from the FBI, or from another federal law-enforcement agency, were summoned to the site where the victim's remains were found, why were they summoned, and by whom? What interest would federal authorities have in an allegedly accidental, or "unexplained," death, if there were not extenuating circumstances? Moreover, why would members of the Point Township police department refuse to comment on whether federal authorities had been involved in the investigation?

4. If tracking dogs were used during the search for Mr. Sees, it seems unusual to us that they would not be able to immediately track the path that the victim presumably took, as he walked, perhaps barefoot, from his vehicle to the location where his remains ultimately were found by searchers. Tracking dogs are very adept at following a scent, and it seems unusual that they could not locate remains that reportedly were badly decayed at the time the body was discovered.

In addition to those questions outlined above, we feel there are many specific questions surrounding the death of Mr. Sees, which have yet to be resolved by any follow-up investigation. For example, the apparent absence of any apparent cause of death seems unusual, given that the decedent was a seemingly quite healthy and fit young man. In addition, it is unclear to us why an experienced outdoorsman, as Mr. Sees apparently was, would abandon his vehicle, shed his outer garments, doff his boots, and walk an estimated two miles toward his home, leaving his vehicle, still in good working condition, on top of the nearby mountain. There apparently are many other aspects surrounding the death, which seem unusual, and which we do not address here.

IV. SUMMARY

As of the date of this writing (September 30, 2002), we have no idea what caused the death of Mr. Sees, and we certainly have no evidence, aside from unsubstantiated assertions, several of them from anonymous sources, that there was anything "unworldly" associated with his tragic demise. However, in light of the many recent reports from South America that have come to our attention over recent months of allegedly strange deaths, and possible human mutilations, we feel that further investigation into this case is justified.

We will pursue the case, to the best of our ability, and will attempt to bring some satisfactory resolution to this apparent mystery. Most of all, we hope to be able to obtain copies of the official reports pertaining to the death, if and when they are released, and we will report them here in a final report.

We close by again expressing our condolences to the family of Mr. Sees over his death, and by apologizing if our paricipation in this matter has caused them over the tragic loss of their loved one.

Report prepared by: Peter B. Davenport, Director, NUFORC (September 30, 2002)

-----

NORTHUMBERLAND -- A Northumberland man whose body was found in the woods here in August died because of cocaine, police said in a release Friday.

While Northumberland County Coroner James Kelley would not qualify the death as an overdose, the press release listed Todd Sees' cause of death as "cocaine toxicity."

Police said the manner of death is accidental.

Kelley said he could not release the amount of cocaine in Sees' blood because his death was still under investigation.

Point Township police could not be contacted Friday for further comment about what they were investigating.

The family of Sees, 39, reported him missing on Aug. 4. Searchers found his body in the evening of the next day.

In the past month, while police were waiting for the results of toxicology tests, a group of UFO Web sites published anonymous reports that a UFO may have been involved in the death. Officials called the reports "ridiculous."

Kelley, along with Point Township Police Chief Gary Steffen and Sgt. Seth Cotner, met with the Sees family Thursday night to inform them of the toxicology results, police said.

NORTHUMBERLAND, Pa. -- The unexplained death of a man near here has become fodder for UFO enthusiasts, who have made it into a tale of alien attack and spread it around the world via the Internet.

The bizarre interest in the death of Todd Sees has aggravated investigators trying to determine the cause of his death, who also worry the tales will deepen the anguish the Sees family is feeling.

Sees, 39, a Little League coach and father of two, was found dead in the woods near here in August.

The anonymous Internet postings blame his death on a UFO.

Officials dismiss the stories as ridiculous. But they don't yet know how or why he died, and they have no way of preventing story-tellers from filling that vacuum with speculation.

Searchers found the body of Sees about 150 yards from his Northumberland home along Route 147 in a heavily wooded area Aug. 5.

He had taken out his all-terrain vehicle the day before, planning to track deer. After a 30-hour search by more than 250 people, his family found his body.

An autopsy the next day failed to establish a cause of death, said Northumberland County Coroner James Kelley.

A toxicology report, which could detect the presence of drugs, poisons or other substances at the microscopic level, is expected by mid-October, he said.

But even before August was over, some Web sites began featuring anonymous tales that Sees had died in an encounter with extraterrestrials.

Here's what they say:

A farmer who did not give his name said he saw a round disk over Montour Ridge. It moved quickly, stopped and shot a light to the ground. The farmer then saw a man being pulled up the light head first into the bottom of the craft.

Seconds later, the disk flew away.

When searchers found the man's body, some of these anonymous reports say, it was partially clothed and had a look of horror on its face.

Some claim federal agents soon showed up to take over the investigation and didn't let the family see Sees' emaciated body.

'Ridiculous'

"They're so ridiculous and far-fetched," said the investigating officer, Sgt. Seth Cotner of the Point Township Police.

Cotner said he's seen a number of the Internet stories, and his department has taken "several" calls from UFO organizations.

None of the reports he has read was accurate, Cotner said. No police report on Sees' death has yet been issued.

Cotner said police "all certainly hope" the toxicology report will clear up the mystery of Sees' death.

There are no federal agencies involved in the investigation, he added.

Linda Vizi, a spokeswoman for the FBI, said she had not heard of the case. "But I know that Congress does not mandate us to investigate UFOs," Vizi said.

'Very traumatic'

Kelley, the coroner, said he saw the body, and the Internet reports he had read were inaccurate.

He said he couldn't go into the details, since the case is still under investigation.

The family had been asked not to open the casket when they received Sees' remains, he said.

"Letting them see it would have been very traumatic for them," Kelley said.

Todd Sees' family declined comment through relative Traci Sees.

The naked eye examination of the body during the autopsy turned up no evidence of trauma, heart attack or any other obvious cause of death, Kelley said.

"We're still following every possible avenue," he said, including the possibility of a snakebite or bee sting. But there was no visible sign of either of those, he said.

UFO groups have contacted Kelley looking for information. But since the investigation is still under way, he said he cannot get into details.

"Everyone's entitled to their own beliefs, I guess," Kelley said about the groups. "I just hope that nothing the family sees adds to what they're already going through."

'I want the facts out'

To Peter Davenport, it's not about belief, it's about facts. Davenport is director of the National UFO Reporting Center, the Web site on which the first Sees reports appeared.

"I want the facts out," Davenport said.

He was not comfortable saying there was UFO involvement in Todd Sees' death. More facts must be gathered, he said.

Davenport said he became interested in the case when he received the first report of a UFO sighting Aug. 18, before he knew Sees had died.

He said in that anonymous report someone stated that a farmer and three fishermen had seen a flying disk.

It wasn't until the end of the month, when another person said they had seen a person drawn up into the disk, that Davenport said he got interested.

He said he spoke briefly with Kelley and Point Township police, but they stopped returning his calls.

Davenport's site, at www.nuforc.org/index.html, posts five to 25 reports of UFO sightings per day, he said.

Those that make it to the site are only those that "warrant attention," he said.

Davenport said he screens out those that are obvious hoaxes.

"The Death of Todd Sees" - UFO Truth Conference WA 2011 - National UFO Reporting Center Director Peter Davenport

For many years, there have been cases where the 'human mutilation' phenomenon has been suspected as a cause or effect to human deaths though, most cases have been officially ruled accidental.

A 1994 abduction case represented one of the most disturbing deaths of a human being ever reported. The victim was subjected to brutal mutilation, though the reality is that what happened to him is far more disturbing than brutality. This was systematic mutilation. There was specific surgical skill and human anatomy knowledge used as the perpetrators removed the left eye, the left ear, the lips, the tongue, and the jaw bone. As well, two perfectly round holes were incised into the chest and the entire rectal trait was removed.

The body was found near the Guarapiranga reservoir, located south of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. A actual copy of the autopsy report can be found here.

From the autopsy report: "We observed the removal of the right and left orbital areas, emptying of the mouth cavity, pharynx, oropharynx, neck, right and left armpit area, abdomen, pelvic cavity, right and left groin area."

"The axillary regions on both sides showed soft spots where organs had been removed. Incisions were made on the face, internal thorax, abdomen, legs, arms, and chest. Shoulders and arms have perforations of 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter where tissue and muscles were extracted. The edges of the perforations were uniform and so was their size. The chest had shrunk due to the removal of internal organs."

"Cause of death...acute haemorhage in multiple traumatisms. There is a component of causa mortis by vagus stimulation" (implying cardio-respiratory arrest caused by extreme pain). "The victim shows injuries with vital reaction characteristics, i.e., there is the component "torture". The suggested modus operandi is: incisions in soft parts and natural orifices using sucking devices".

We are to assume that the victim was alive during these procedures and most likely succumbed to blood loss and extreme pain. Some may ask if humans could have performed this horror...and I would have to say 'yes'. But the circumstances make that theory less than likely since it appears no restraints or weapons were involved and the residents of this area would not have the expertise to accomplish this feat.

Another incident was that of Sgt. Jonathan Lovette, who worked at the White Sands Missile Range. While on a two-man mission to collect debris from outside of the base perimeter, something unusual occurred. Lovette’s companion returned in terror to the base and claimed he had seen Lovette whisked into a flying disk by some kind of tentacle-like appendage which descended from the vehicle. Days later, Lovette’s body was found, mutilated almost beyond recognition. As in many cattle mutilations, the genitals, rectum and eyes had been cored out and the body was drained of blood. Lovette’s companion was initially charged with murder but the charges were later dropped.

In Great Britain there was the case of Zygmunt Adamski. An immigrant from Poland who had come to Great Britain during the war and settled there afterwards. The 57 year-old Mr. Adamski disappeared one night while walking to a local shop to buy some potatoes. His body was found four days later at the top of coal pit, approximately 30 miles away. There were strange burn marks on his body, and it looked as if some kind of ointment had been used to treat them.

Discussions with local health experts were unable to identify this unknown ointment. Local officials had seen strange lights in the sky on the night Adamski’s body was found. The coroner pronounced the death as baffling and said that it's mysterious nature lent credence to the "UFO theory."

These incidents are just a small sample of this phenomenon. If these mutilations were carried out by an intelligent alien species then the question must be asked...what are their real intentions? People go missing daily. Hundreds of thousands have never been found...without a trace. Are we considered a commodity to alien species?

Engineer and geologist Phil Schneider, who died in the 1990's due to a suspicious death claimed that world military and political powers have been in, "constant conflict with the outer space alien" both underground and on the surface. These aliens he stated, included the Small Greys, the Large Greys, and the Reptilians.

UNSOLVED: The disappearance and eventual death of 39-year-old Todd Sees

The disappearance and eventual death of 39-year-old Todd Sees!
  TODD SEES

Episode Info

The disappearance and eventual death of 39-year-old Todd Sees has been one of the most mysterious cases in modern ufology. In the early morning of August 4th, 2002,Todd Jeffrey Sees rode his ATV, starting at his home at the base of Montour Ridge in Northumberland County, PA. (Point Township), on a short jaunt up a mountain trail adjacent to a sprawling high power line. After he failed to return home by noon, the family became concerned and notified the authorities. A massive search effort ensued...which included search & rescue personnel (with search dogs and helicopters), local & state police, as well as an organized search team that numbered 200+ volunteers. The entire area from the top of the ridge, adjacent woods and the family property was explored...including a small pond located 70 feet from the Sees house. Divers and dogs searched the area in and around the pond...without success. The effort continued for approximately 36 hours...until the second morning of the search, a family member noticed something in the bushes around the fore-mentioned pond. Todd Sees body had been discovered...in an area that was heavily searched the previous day. Since that time, there has been very little information released to the public. The death was ruled as 'fatal cocaine toxicity'...despite evidence suggesting that something else most likely occurred. The circumstances involving the recovery, handling, autopsy and final arrangements with the body are also mired in controversy. A joint investigation by Butch Witkowski / Cold Case Unit of the UFO Research Center of PA and the Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research team has uncovered previously undisclosed information in regards to this incident. This briefing will include objective & authentic discoveries...and the roundtable discussion will present an opportunity for the participants to fashion plausible scenarios as to what may have actually occurred.
